And I don't mean high value certified auction sites like heritage, etc. I also don't mean stuff like ecrater, which has been too slow...I want auction sites.

I find ebay's policies to be insulting, and would like to try another site. I checked out Bonanza, but like...90% of the listings are just duplicates of cheap moderns.....also only 27 Barber dimes and 5 Seated dimes have been sold there in the last YEAR...very low traffic.

Any help here?

Ditto on ebay policies. I've had some luck with Bobzi & Wensy & atOncer. No fees, but I dont want to be on the same page
with 50.00 50-D's and common circulated Morgans.

I've had the same luck as you Shadow. If you want fast results and big exposure, ebay is it. Some of the others are OK but I don't see any savings on fees. Low fees just seem to result in slow sales.

Now that they're planning to hold your money for 'below standard' (which many good sellers are, apparently) there may be a mass exodus and a REAL new site...

Might be true but it only affects the sellers. Buyers don't care and that's who needs to leave ebay and I don't see that happening nay time soon.

Yeah, but hopefully with more sellers on other sites more buyers will come. I can only hope in a few years time....but yeah, from reading the ebay dialogue, they only seem to care about buyers and high tier sellers (and that doesn't even include those with 10000+ FB)

You could take a look at this site. I know it gets a lot of traffic but I don't know how coins do on here. Most are over priced if you ask me.

That's only for hand made items...I think. Unless you're a Chinese faker, I don't think you can sell coins there (jk of course, but I don't think selling coins there is allowed)

We have had some success lately with BidStart http://www.bidstart.com/Dave-s-Coll...useridQQshop

We have not used it long enough for me to give a real recommendation, but the early signs are quite positive. As opposed to ecrater and bonanza, they work directly with you to not only import, but actually manage your ebay listings and your listings with them.

With about 8,000 listings on average at Daves Collectible Coins, that was a big deal to us.
