Is there one reliable source I can reference for production numbers on US Mint products. Not just coins, but other products like proof sets, first day covers, etc.?

Numismatic News runs a weekly column titled "Mint Stats" and it contains Mint sales information with only about a 1 week delay. They have online archives that go back to Aug 2007.
