I saw this dollar on ebay last week. What does the '2xREG' mean, does it mean the 'REG' in REGINA is double stamped?
I looked in the Charlton guide and I didn't see any varieties for this coin.
Just curious thanks for any help.

The 1968 has many doubling varieties...I've bought 6 of them...the doubling can occur on the entire obverse legend, or only a part of it...
was going to send some to CCCS just to have the varieties documented :)...

People are not interested in Canadian error coins right now, which is a great time to buy...as you can get them for almost nothing...
