On my way to a job site I took the back roads and I stopped at a one horse town bank and was looking for 1/2 dollars. No luck, so I asked about dollar coins ant to my surprise I was able to pick up a roll of 1999 SBA in the OBW. It is a head/head roll with some really nice blueish toning going on. I looked on ebay and didnt see any OBW rolls for sale and most '99s are selling at the $2+ range each. So my question for the folks here is do I bust the roll or not?

Personally, I'd keep the roll intact. I'm sure there are plenty of 1979 SBA rolls for sale, maybe a few 1980 rolls, but at least in my opinion, an original bank roll of 1999 SBA's is pretty neat and seldom found in circulation.

I would open it and look for high grade and cool toning and of course errors and varieties. You can offer some of them for sale here on CCF.

that is kinda what I was thinking but they may have better value as an unsearched roll

Neat find ! I'd personally hang onto it in it's roll form. But if the temptation is too great, have at it.

I have never met a roll that I would not open.

Of course I am all about the coins and not what I can make off of them, so be aware of that when evaluating my opinion.
