I'm guessing you guys have seen this before. I'm not sure what caused this indentation ring showen in picture. it goes around the quater and pressed into the date and top letters. looks like it happened at the mint.

If it is pressed into the coin and over the letters, then it would be damage from a wrapper/counter/something else. If it were raised it would be a die issue.
