Save for errors and desirable SN's of course.

Just asking because an awesome teller at my bank gave me a few older notes that he had saved the other day.

$10 - 1981A
$20 - 1977, 1990, 1995

The 1977 $20 is in the best condition of the lot at about EF.

I figure that none of these are worth any more than face since they're not UNC, but I just want to make sure.

I have an older Paper Money Values magazine and the only one you posted that lists a value is the $10 and in EF it lists for $18.The others list as current. But remember this value is a "book" value. I don't think you could sell it for that much.

Thanks John. Unfortunately, that $10 is quite a rag. haha

It feels weird seeing these types of notes again, since I can just barely remember back when they were still in general circulation in the 90s as I am quite young. :)

I have a couple of Series 1985 $5's that I got about a month ago, that have been around the block a few times.

They are probably not worth more than face value, but I saved them anyway. Seeing a small portrait in circ is a rare occurrence these days.

Yeah, I try to keep any of these type notes that I receive, because the Fed is pulling these from circulation as they get turned in, so eventually it might get to the point where they might have some value..

But I just think they look cool!
