Found this one in my collection, it is visually that something wrong with rim at the top, looks like kind double.
Is it error, variety?

Nope! Not much wrong with this coin. It's just that some of the metal from the planchet has escaped around the edge of the die. It has been squeezed up above the edge of the rim of the coin. It's gotta go somewhere, especially if the planchet is struck a very tiny bit off centre, but still within the collar.

Take a look at a lot of other freshly minted coins. This phenomenon can be quite common in 5 10 and 20 cent coins as well, not so common in $1 and $2 coins. Notice that the opposite side of this reverse does not show this effect.
