I'm wondering if anyone bids on these on ebay and whats the most anyone would pay for one that's in good condition. My coin guide says spot price is $13 for a MS-63 and $15 for a PF-65. It seems almost impossible to get these for spot price on ebay and I really don't wanna pay 2 or 3 dollars over spot. I wanna know what people think is a good price.

I have an MS'64, '64, which I sprayed with acrylic laquer from a spray can, way back in '64. 47 years later, it still looks as good as it did in '64.

Check the spot price of silver, figure out the value of a 90% silver half, and you'll have a good starting point.

If the coin is an MS63 or 64 or 65, it doesn't matter to me if it is raw (ungraded). I will only pay spot silver for it.

If it is graded by NGC or PCGS than I would pay a premium for it.

Right now the silver value on '64 Kennedy halves has surpassed their collector value, so I wouldn't pay much more than, say, fifty cents over spot.

This is just my opinion.

I see them go for low as 15 bucks total on ebay, say non cameo decent condition, more like 20 for the nicer non cameo's, perhaps grade-able, and finally the nice cameo graded ones go anywhere from like 25 to 40 bucks. And of course a rare date or something graded in god shape my be worth much more, hard to say, I have seen some high dollar coins, even like a Kennedy half which is less than a half oz. of silver....

If you only buying one coin on ebay you are going to pay a hefty premium over spot. I would try to find a dealer locally, or wait till you have 50 quality posts here and buy from us. I know a few people here that would unload common Kens for Spot. If you want to get close to spot on ebay, your going to have to buy a lot.

This is a nice cameo, and note it is 2004 and yet it still has 90% silver....

Yes and like mentioned above, fifty posts takes no time, and if you could get here for spot, no brain-er eh....
