Quarter and half pair.
Images are scans. Note: On the half "Liberty" is fully readable in hand. Bottoms of "BER" worn slightly. "Y"
goes off into the dark area. Epluribus Unum is completely readable easily also as well as a nice full banner. Lousy scans :) Probably not much help but need to get close on these. Quarter: LIB. is all readable. Just a tad of the right bottom of the are leg coming up short. Band top line all there,
bottom line mostly worn. Rev. banner all there and eplur. all readable.
Thanks for looking.

The second one I have have to go with VG plus, to much damage to the obverse, I agree with F12 on the first.

Interesting. Thanks
I had them both at F15 overall. (net)
Besides the dirt you actually see only VG8/F12
details on the halfs reverse ? correct about the obv.
with the fine scratches and also the 2 hits and a few scratches on the quarters obv. I have always agreed myself with the old school (worst side gets the grade)so I would have to agree with an F12 on both. However if these barbers are now today net graded (do not know myself)then should go
a half grade higher. That is why I stated F15.
Thanks for your input. Still learning on these older ones.

Just got back from my dealer and he had on hand a local expert
on all the barbers. He agreed with the F12 overall on the quarter. VF20 details on the half but an F15 solid greysheet + price overall. Thanks again all.
He made me an offer on the quarter. If I make no decision over the weekend I will put up for sale/auction on here.
The half will be priced accordingly as these coins have to be sold soon.
Rest in Peace

Honestly, I could mayyyybe see F-15 details (if you're pushing it) on the half, but VF-20 is an over-grade.

In hand the details are VF20. I'll take this guys word on it.
He has multiple complete sets of every barber coin minted.
Spent his life on barbers. Anyway, the grade is not VF20 but F15 as I stated. Thanks again all for your help.
Actually not much sense in trying to get a grade on a coin
by a scan. Live and learn. Even pro pics. do not cut it.
