I won't grade an 1880-O from a picture anymore. I swear that date and MM is the most abused by a group trying to elevate these to a higher grade ... i.e. doctoring. The price tiers between circulated and uncirculated specimens drive these idiots to do all sorts of things. I've submitted a dozen or more to PCGS and ANACS that I believed to be UNC, only to return "cleaned". For the life of me I can't see evidence of a cleaning. I now give them a thorough look in-hand from all angles.

I can definitely see this being a coin doctors dream coin. There is a HUGE jump in price from 62 - 63 - 64. I would imagine the TPGs are VERY harsh on anything that potentially is a MS64 coin.. and I would imagine there are tons of 58s/62s/63s out there that were messed with in hopes of sliding it through a TPG at 64.

I think this coin looks better in hand than in the pics.. marks arent nearly as distracting. I'm not enough of an expert though on Morgans to catch a lot of methods of doctoring.

I'm leaning toward MS-63. It's a strong strike for Nawlins.
