Please help to identify whether it's a fake or genuine. As stated on the coin it is a 1 cent 1920H Sarawak coin.

Everything looks fine with it. What makes you questions its authenticity?

Some of my friends says that it suppost to be silver. I'm not so sure and I new to coin collecting. I'm trying to sell it at ebay and I want to be sure it is original. I don't want to sell if it's fake.

Matt: I notice you are are from Singapore, and a mighty fine city it is!

I guess that you are somewhat familiar with this series; I have quite a few myself, including a 1927 50 cents, but I don't have one of these. This particular coin is copper nickel, and this one LOOKS as if it may be zinc, but I seriously doubt that.

The colour, from the picture looks 'off', but that just may be the picture in this case. What prompted you to doubt the coin yourself?

Well thank you.

The color is exactly as it is. I used a scanner. The coin is grey in color that is why I question the authenticity. It looks like it is made from clay but it produce metal sounds if I drop it on the floor. I really new to coins which I got it from my late father. I intend to sell it as I don't think I could keep it any longer and hopefully someone die-hard coin collectors can appreciate my dad's coins. So to know more about coins I have joined this forum and it helped me since I joined. As I said I really don't wish to sell any fake coins. Just to be really sure, I need expert opinions. Thanks.

Oh by the way I got a little familiar about coins which I learned from this forum.
