I started lookin through ebay for some Kennedy halves to buy and I saw where some of the ads had the word cello in them and I was wondering what does that mean?

It means they originally came in mint sets, and are therefore still in the cellophane wrapper. People cut out each coin individually, but leave the cellophane around the specific coins.
