Long story short you put your coins in a box or an envelope with sulfur from matches and keep it warm with a heat lamp. I don't known how long it takes but it creates some crazy artificial toning. The controversy is that some of these coins ended up being slabbed even though NGC and PCGS supposedly have sniffers to detect artificial toning. Those guys on the NGC Forum are over the top about stuff like that. Report this Post to the Staff
