Looking for information on a Fort Duchesne officers club token.(Utah) It is a 10 cent piece and I think it is brass. It is only stamped on one side and has a smooth edge. If anybody could point me in the direction of where I might find more info I would sure appreciate it.

Welcome to the CC Forum. Pictures would be extremely helpful in asking information like this. Although I'm sure there are some experts available here with some information that may help you. But if you have a camera, I would suggest adding a picture of the obverse and reverse to your post. :)

I don't have Campbell's catalog number, but can offer the following:
Your specimen is 28mm.
Obverse (incused) OFFICERS CLUB / 10 / ยข / FT. DUCHESNE
Reverse (blank)
A 25 cent token was also issued for the Officer's Club.
In addition, a canteen at the fort also issued tokens in denominations of 5, 10, and 25 cents.

The catalog number I found for this token is TokenCatalog #174317 that should be Campbell's catalog number.

What's needed is the Campbell Catalog Number, and 174317 isn't it.

Quote: Thanks to both of you I will hit the library and see if I can find the book. The following libraries have a copy of the book, Utah Trade Tokens, H. Robert Campbell. Mind you, it's not certain whether each of them will also possess the later supplements for the book:
Library of Congress Washington, DC 20540
Wisconsin Historical Society Madison, WI 53706
Brigham Young University Provo, UT 84602
University of Utah SLC, UT 84112
Utah State University Logan, UT 84322
Weber County Library Ogden, UT 84401
Weber State University Ogden, UT 84408
University of California, Berkeley Berkeley, CA 94720
University of California, Northern Regional Library Richmond, CA 94804
It may be easier just to buy a copy of the book, especially if you plan to pursue Utah Trade Tokens. You can buy a CD copy of the book and supplements at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...TRK:MEWAX:IT
Good luck!
