For Chinese coins, we really need to see pictures of it to see if it's genuine. However if it's made into a pendant, it adds a bit more certainty it might be genuine.
Despite the year difference, the designs should be the same. If you look at mine, it could pass as a genuine if someone not that experienced looked at it.
However if it is genuine, and uncirculated specimen would bring around $800-$1200. Being made into a pendant, sadly, will bring the price down a bit.
