Waltzed in the door today from another CCF member who put it at MS63. I agree on the technical grade but the eye appeal when up front and personal is impressive. Great luster on the obverse and the reverse is SPL in my opinion with golden toning. Where would you put it? Thanks.

Beautiful-nice coin, lots of luster, but there seems to be a large scratch above IN GOD WE TRUST

My guess would be MS61/62. Too many hits on the fields and face.
The toning appears to be residue from a poorly rinsed coin that has been dipped.
I'm no expert but I have experimented on a few junk silver coins.

I'm seeing some hairlines so I think it has been wiped. Details look MS-63 to me.

It just had a bad time in the bag. I stick with MS.

This coin is a classic "slider" IMHO...Wear on the cheek, also many short parallel hairlines in field . I've seen hundreds if not thousands that resemble this coin.

I think the strike details for this O mint coin are pretty good. The face is not that bad really. Those reverse scratches have me wondering if more than just a quick dip/whiz. Like mentioned, typical look for these coins. Overall 62

I am aware O Morgans have strike issues but I think this one is reasonably struck but has some rub. I'll go with AU-58.
