Does anyone know of a dealer in the Portland, OR area who does PCGS submissions? My friend has a coin he want to submit but he don't have a dealer up here he know who does it. He doesn't want to find some random person whom he doesn't trust. Does anyone know of somebody that they could recommend?
Thanks in advance.

I would honestly just get a subscription. Doesn;t cost a whole lot and you get free submissions

Why would I try your site? Are you a PCGS submitting dealer? Neither PCGS' site nor yours says you are. Smells like a potted meat product to me... OP: how about the ANA show in 2 weeks - a large # of submitting dealers will be there!

Oh, man. Don't make your first post at CCF a self-promotion. Ouch. Doug Winter and Pinnacle Numismatics are the only dealers I'm familiar with. However, the major coin show in the area is March 5-7. Portland has the ANA National Money show this year, always one of the largest in the country and every TPG will be there. Submissions are more expensive at shows, but there will be plenty of ready advice regarding the coin. A membership is warranted if the free submission number can be met, but if the guy only has one or two coins to submit it's not warranted.

Good point, Conder. And I bet PCGS would know a dealer in attendance who could handle the submission on consignment (after they try to sell a membership, of course ).
