Hi,

Please let me know your opinion ref the grade of this coin.

It should be noted that this coin has its full silver-colored luster which is not evident by the poor lighting of this photo.

Also the scuff mark under the figure 10 is a result of my wooden toothpick rubbing some of the now-gone green debris that never did adhere to nor attack the metal surface.

Thanks

These coins use to be pocket change for me--the design has unchanged for years.
They are typically well-struck with clean fields and sometimes frosty design elements.
The wear is pretty evident on the oak leaves and hair. If I were to guess a grade, I'd go with VF.
At 1 million mintage, it's lower than some years--Krause values a VF20 at $0.75. Perhaps worth more to Swiss collectors? I don't collect Switzerland coins myself.

Your assessment's spot-on in my book, DVCollector. (I've collected Swiss off and on for some years now.)
I'd add that generally modern Swiss minors attract little interest below AU, and getting near cat price on VF or XF coins is TOUGH.
