He can charge what he wants. What he gets is something else. Their only value is as copper cents. IMHO

These are the lowest mintage coins of the LMC. However, I have never seen rolls packaged like this and at 10 times face, I'm rather surprised.

More than likely he has been looking through them for many years, sorting them as he went. Mostly looking for the ones you mentioned. Finally just put them in rolls and put a price on them. If they sell for that price, why not? Many people might buy them just in case he really didn't search them.

Heck, I have 5000 of 'em.

No, they're not worth $5 per roll imho, and I can't argue with just carl's reasoning either. I'm hanging onto them to pass down to my kids and grandkids.

$5...wow! That's too high, you can get BU rolls for about that.

Where are you located? Yea, the left coast guys find them all the time, but they are scarce in the mid-west. As much searching as I've done, I probably only have 5-6 mixed, circ rolls in total. Scotty convinced me to stop saving them. LOL I've been tossing them in the copper bucket lately.

I am looking for several rolls of 1968s-1974s circulated pennies to put in my grandkids coin books but not at $5 a roll. Anyone have some for sale within reason?
