I have inherited a lot of coins from my grandparents. There are quite a few duplicates so I thought maybe I would have some fun and sell a little bit on ebay. So I list the coin set and the bids are at $61.00 + 3.99 shipping. btw I'm pretty sure they are circulated and I stated I think they are likely circulated but not entirely sure. They are in a plastic casing and it includes the one dollar, 50 cents, quarter, dime, nickel and penny

I was thinking maybe $20...is this realistic

According to the volume 2, 2nd edition, W. Cross, 2011, a 1959 mint set in their original container and uncirculated, the set was bought for $3.00 and the book vakue is $60.00 in PL65 condition. If you put down in the ad like you say, and it has reached the price that you say, then the bidder must really want the set. Disclosing that the set may contain circulated coins, tells the bidder that they are taking a chance. Hopefully, the bidder did some research because the set is in a very specific sleeve. This how coin collecting goes, there are many surprises that pop up. Good luck. I forgot to see if you are new here and if you are,

Thanks for your response! Yup I wrote in the description that it is most likely circulated but it could be patina and I really am not sure. So they def know that the chances of them being circulated is pretty high.

Basically, it's two bidders battling it out and the guy who is leading the bidding came right out of the wood works. He's been a member for a few years but he hasn't bought or sold anything in at least a year. So my guess is he has been keeping his eye out for the 1959 set.
