Souvenirs from the Winnipeg Mint is one guess I have, since many of them are being offered out of Manitoba. Another possibility is a plated steel test token. (If so, where's the toonie?) Nickelodeon Valued Member Canada 97 Posts	Posted 06/11/2011 10:43 am Yes, these are souvenir coins from the RCM in Winnipeg. The Obverse of the coin has the "Mint Logo", and " Royal Canadian Mint" in both French & English stamped on it. The Boutique area of the Mint has a small "press" set up where visitors can choose a design and mint their own token. The cost is around $3.00 I believe. A friend of mine has one with the 5 Cent Beaver design on it. A nice, unique item for the Token collector. Hope this helps. Report this Post to the Staff
