BTW, it's not my coin. I think it looks somewhat rubbed or cleaned.

$70 is in the ballpark for '59s this grade here on the west coast--and many are worse.
I'm unsure what premium the Cud adds, but I wanted collectors here to see it.

Looks fantastic, and I need that coin for my type set. But personally would like the coin without the Cud.

Rim Cuds on the 1859 Indian cent are rather common - but they are neat. Most collectors, likke Drsandman2, prefer a nice Indian without a rim Cud as a distraction. Now, talk about a big Cud on an Indian, and it's a different story.
