I too would be willing to send you some of your missing coins, but I am in the same situation as DvntMstr and do not have enough postings to send private messages. A rather odd rule in my opinion.

Where are you located timnic44 ? I'm in Hamilton Ontario myself.

Even some of the older ones people south of the border are looking for are fairly common or at least very cheap up here (1920s ans 30s are usually 5/a buck or less) I have no issue sending stuff down for free after all whats postage cost lol better to help someone out than save 60 cents :)

I am from Hamilton, Ontario but I now live in Amherst, Nova Scotia. I agree with you. I have no problem sending someone a few cents in the mail to help someone with their collecting. Lower grade, non key date coins from the 20's and 30's are inexpensive as well as higher grade coins from the 60's to date.

Very good start Newbismatic. Do not forget that for your 1965 cents there are other nice varieties to look for.
1965 Small Beads Pointed 5
1965 Small Beads normal 5 (some refer to it as a blunt 5)
1965 Large Beads Pointed 5
1965 Large Beads normal 5 (some refer to it as a blunt 5)
The reason I distinguish the 2 as Pointed and Normal 5 is that on almost every 1965 cent the top end of the five is not true vertical. The end is slanted 5 - 15 degrees. This can make it difficult to distinguish the 2 different varieties until you actually see one of each for comparison. The true pointed 5 variety is close to 30 - 45 degree slant. Once you see one you will notice the difference.

Here is a comparison from coinsandcanada.com :

Blunt 5:

Pointed 5:

Here is a reference to distinguishing the beads as well as the pointed 5 (borrowed from a earlier post by DVCollector on this forum):

Finally...here is a pick of one that I have found roll hunting:

I hope this helps you.
