I think this is a Thessalian League (196-146 BC): Helmeted Head of Athena Rt & Horse Prancing Rt. Bronze 17 mm, 3.84 grams. All comments welcome!

I couldn't say for sure , but looking at the top of the head and the back of the head and the horse reverse, I see some similarities to these.

I think your attribution is correct. Any traces of a legend?
