Please indicate the grade of this low mintage (240,000) coin.

I'm trying to determine if it is worth sending it off to PCGS etc.

My specialist
'The New Zealand Coin & Banknote Catalogue' (2007)
publ. by Howard Mitchell in New Zealand,
lists this coin, KM32.1: ave.circ. $7, EF $150, Brilliant Unc. $300. (NZ dollars).

Because the design had no fine detail, hard to grade from the screen. I would hazard a guess nearly EF, with comments.
(roughness in field behind obv. legend, minor verdigris below first '5' in date).

It is one of the most valuable dates in the pre decimal half penny series.

Definitely a keeper.
