Theae coins are dropping price on ebay every minute. You now can get the collector coins (P) miny mark for around $340. I bought one on craigslist yesterday for 320. I am wondering now, if this coin is a tempory phase. It kills me to pay twice the spot price on these, but I really like the coin. My goal is ton get the collector series for 2010 ( 5 coines) and call it a day. What are your thought on this coin.

I think these will be the key dates of the series..Right now there is a glut of sales and the prices reflect that. Once the series is established these should recover nicely....

On the other hand you could get them graded....

As logn as silver stays steady and continues to rise (lets jsut say $1 a year) there will be only more and more demand for the 2010 series. I don;t feel the silver market will dump by no means so this (to me) is a good investment even at a collectors stand point.

I have always felt the PCGS and other grading companies Is over rated. I know they bring a bigger premium. I just would never pay for a graded coin. Imo

Only getting the 2010's. Getting all 56 is ambitious. Looking into a Civil War subset which would be Gettysburg, Vicksburg, Harpers Ferry (WV) and Fort Sumter (SC).

I like that idea. Might also be fun to build a collection of the parks you've actually been to, states you've lived in, etc. For some of us, that could be most of the set!

Yosemite. I pickup the Hot Springs tomorrow, I purchased from a local guy on craigslist. Iam behind the cure but plan to get all 5 for 2010. Just not willing to pay more than 10% over mint price.

Hi blackpearl,
why you buy from a local guy on craigslist, instead buying from the mint. The Yosemite still available on their website.
