I was sorting coins at a bank and ended up picking this one up. It was just sitting on top of their bag of change. I initially thought it was a Canadian quarter, but my manager assured me it had to be a coin from Britain or the UK.

Twas a fun pickup indeed and knowing that it is an older one that they no longer make is even better!

This is the only date missing from my post-silver halfcrown set! And I believe it's the lowest mintage in that series too!

I thought it was rather strange as the customer who was in their teens just traded it out and even had it laying around in her coin box. Well let me know if you never find it, we will keep in touch!
