No evidence of wear, nice clean fields, mimimal rim nicks. MS63.

I notice some marks around Vikkie's forehead. Can't make up my mind if that is slight PMD or minor die damage. Someone else to comment?

Hi valdiman,
I'm not really hot on grading, but have a number of rupees and they are some of my favourite coins. In fact it was these coins that really got me into the collectors side. Prior to receiving these coins I only invested in government mint silver bullion.

Anyway here is a useful website that should provide you with the information that you are after. http://britishcoins.indian-coins.com/william1.html

I suspect the marks around Victoria's forehead match design details on the reverse--it looks like a clashed die to me. Great coin!
