I think that slides right into a F12. The coin is really tough it might be a good contender for BadThad's secret formula.

I'd give it F-15, maybe even VF-20 for detail. I agree this is a candidate for Verdi-Care treatment which could remove some of the green crust and stabilize the surfaces so corrosion is halted.

Thanks. I always wondered about that stuff.
She might of got some damage during the Big One, War of 1812. :) Well, at least it's still a "Fine" coin as is.
