*edit* looks like a crack on the indian, but I believe a hair fell out while leaning over to take a picture haha anyone ever get worried about fake ngc slabs? the 5$ eagle looks the same when compared to the original after looking it up on ngc. and the 1/10oz gold eagle looks to be too small to make a real profit on Edited by ICanSeeYou7687 06/16/2011 5:44 pm

Buy 9 more of the little one and you'll have a whole once, I love the obverse no matter how small it is

Very nice additions to your collection. Good job on acquiring them. Having some gold in hand is almost never a bad idea.

If I give you my kids phone numbers will you call them and tell them what a great Father's day gift you got for your dad, then tell them that you heard a rumor that their dad would be ecstatic to get such a gift this Father's Day?

Your question, I don't think there is a much chance of them being fake, as that grading company is respected (NGC), and surely can tell a fake from the real thing, or atleast I hope anyway. I have heard mention of the older coin being faked, but not graded....

But really, I am in college and luckily still on my parents insurance, but unfortunately I did run a red light and got into a wreck, and I paid for the ticket, but my dad was nice enough to cover the deductible for me. And I'm in a program in college where I work full time for an engineering company, and then the next semester go back to school, then to work, etc... So I have some extra money so I wanted to do something nice for him. So I went a little more then I usually would

Dang it Icanseeu, nothing is safe anymore....
Like I said months back, buying anything online is like Flash Gordon sticking his arm in the tree trunk holes, and of course inside of one of the holes is where the poison beast lives....

Faked coins and COAs are a blight upon the coin collecting world and I wish that the full weight of the law would fall upon the cretins who do these things. That said, as a bullion collector who only buys from recognized and highly regarded suppliers, this is pretty much a non-problem for me. I still do not like it, though... a LOT! Dishonesty in any form really ticks me off. That and stupidity are the two things in this world that irritate me the most. I can deal with most everything else.
