I hope it is and that the bubble will burst real soon so that the people that have offered to sell me coins they have stored away in paper bags in a sock drawer for 35X face value will panic and make me a more reasonable offer.

It is funny how these people figure out how much their coin is worth. $1= 1oz of silver in their minds and they want what ever the silver price in the newspaper. Or the best one is this.........."I saw a Wheat penny on that ebay thang and it sold for $500.00 so these have be worth at least that a piece."

Interesting, the Cisco bubble was bigger than the tulip bubble.

Yeah is was a little hard to read at first, I'm not use to seeing % with a comma in the number.

I tried to make sense of the chart and it appears that we are far below the bubble relative to 1980. I think the big difference between now and 1980 is the knowledge that the common man now has of our debt situation. Plus the trillion plus that we've spent on these senseless wars. We put our nose in everybody else's business which brought on the horrible and incalculably expensive events of 9-11. Not only was 9-11 a trillion dollar event at ground zero, it brought on the following trillions to try and get the boogie men that pulled it off. I think our national debt is the bubble and precious metals price elevation is a natural result of the damage done to our baseline economy.

Some browsers shrink images to fit the page. Look for a symbol in the lower right corner to enlarge it, or use a photo program like Irfanview.
