Here's a fun coin. It's has major die clash on Obverse and Reverse, but not just in the center, you can even see the center of the ribbon from the reverse at the top of the obverse and transfer of the date between the leaves on the reverse, it looks as if the clash shattered the reverse die, it has about a 4% Die Break with 3 large Retained Cuds.

The missing metal from the reverse die and the movement of the 3 remaining breaks caused the details on the coin to be weak with parts of the reverse ribbon missing along with major details of the Portrait and the word AMERICA weak because of the shattered reverse.

Let me know what you think as far as grade. I've never seen a coin with the date clashed into the reverse die or the transfer of so many details between the die pair.

Wow, that's a severe break on the reverse! Does that qualify as a " Retained Cud"?

Yes. From what I've read it's a shattered die, 20% Retained Cud with inteior die break.

I think the weak details are from the reverse die allowing the metal to fill the broken area and not fill the center of the coin. Can anyone help me with this?
