I believe that silver price puts this at about $6.50. With the recent increase in silver prices these quarters seem to be worth the silver content (like bullion), or a little more (like a premium). With that being said, this quarter looks really nice and I think the silver proofs are under-appreciated and going to increase in value fairly quickly (in terms of numismatics). I'm also biased because I like what they did with the quarters. I don't care much for the Washington quarters pre-'99 (even the silver). But the new quarters are like an available commemorative, to everyone, every 4 months. I know everyone doesn't feel that way though.

I personaly wouldnt pay 8$ for it but there may be someone out there willing to pay 20$. Like herman said, its really about the silver value. I just dont see these increasing much in numismatic value in the near future.

If it were slabbed I would probably pay 8$.

Nice looking coin though.

Thanks guys. I'm sure that given some time if I held on to it it may increase in numismatic value. By the way it was tricky getting this thing photographed
