Hi I notice that some of the RAM silver proofs sell for spot value whilst others sell for a premium. Which ones are consistent poor performers on the second-hand market?

Regards,

Ozzie

From a look in the coin book, the $10 bird series don't make more than release price.
Unsure about most things silver you can never predict prices on most coins, your better off going with something like a kangaroo or koala series, subscription coins also do well.

The RAM proof silver releases recently have been basic mostly full sets, the last single coin was the rams head, and they made so many of them that they probably wont make any money in the long run.

I personally collect coins that appeal to me and what I like; I have a very small collection. Surprisingly all Perth Mint coins

Tuvalu love coin "that's my avatar" bought for $65 now worth $115.

Bush baby koala "very cute" brought for $67.50

And 1/10 oz card koala coin. $14.95 "best silver price for newbie collectors"

I am saving up for this turtle coin.

If you got the money this is a really nice 5 oz coin.
Only 5,000 minted
300 for Australia-- probably sold out by now
You can predict that this will make a good return in the future.
