I'm very confused

Are the National Park quarters and the American the Beautiful quarters the same thing or different?

Yes they are the same thing, just people calling them something different. They are properly called America the beautiful because they depict more than just National parks. It is parks, monuments, and places that are key or historic areas throughout each state.

They are one and the same. The US Mint has copyrighted the term "America the Beautiful" in reference to these quarters, so third party resellers have had the come up with alternative names to describe the product without infringing on the copyright. National Parks, State Parks, seem to be the most popular.

wow, that seems a bit snooty on the mints part. But thanks for that because that is very helpful, explains why I got so confused.
