Did someone do something to the "LIBERTY * 1982" or is it an error coin?

If your referring to the die break at the "E" it may be the early stages of a "Bar" nickel. Some from the past had a break between all the letters, but I can't recall the dates.

Okay, not sure what that is. Maybe it just didn't strike up all the way?

It looks like some parts of the metal was dragged. So I can only think that it's striking damage or damage from a counting machine.

I would have to concur with longnine009, it appears to be counting machine damage.
