Do the lucky people get a 4th guess everyday or just once?

I have never played Mastermind why do you say 1/0 on my first guess and 1/1 on his last guess?

WOW finally getting somewhere! But I have a question as well. Does 1/1 mean one in right place and one in wrong place? Or just one in right place?

1/1 means you have 1 of the 8 currencies right and it is in the correct position.
So, for example, a 2/1 would mean 2 of the currencies are right and 1 is in the correct position. A 5/3 would mean 5 currencies of the 8 are right and 3 of them are in the right position.
Please, if you have any more questions, just let me know. It's a fun game, but strategy and understanding are more than half the fun.

Never underestimate the power of a 1/0 also!
Everybody loves the 0/0 because you can completely rule them out, but there is more information to be gleaned from a 1/0 other than just having 1 of the 8 currencies right.
