Just got back from the Credit Union with another brick of cents, the first time I have one since joining the forum. I will provide specs later. I am on the first roll as we speak.

good luck, let us know what you get. I took a break from cents after getting about 3-4 wheats per box several times in a row. I'm doing nickels and dimes now.

Just got finished with the box looking through and sorting, and ended up with 12 Wheats. I will have more detailed figures to come.

Twelve wheat cents are better than no wheat cents.

I will post pictures - good and bad pictures! I have spotted several BU looking cents from 1981! I have also sadly noticed that about twenty-five percent of the Shield cents I have came across have already became corroded and unfit for circulation! I am going to post a picture of the "Crappy Shields" as well. As far as Wheats, I found two with sharp Wheat stalks from 1936 and 1937!

And just twelve 2009 cents in the whole box.

I went to the bank a few weeks ago to acquire a $25 block of cents, and changed my mind after I noticed they were all shield cents in the plastic (vinyl) sleeves.

True once again jbuck! Interesting that the number of Wheats I found equals the number of the Lincoln Commemoratives. Says a lot about the scarcity in the series, I think. How impressive of reupman to find so many in his two boxes.

I am almost done sorting through the coppers in the box. I wonder if its worth going through the zinc cents since a lot of them are corroded and aren't worth more than one cent.
