I don't know much about Canadian coins.
I have just received a small silver lot that contained two Canadian 25 cents coins.
One from 1902 in coin alignment the other one from 1917 in medal alignment.
I don't believe I got anything extraordinary but was just wondering when and why Canada changed the alignment of their coins.

Alignment changed in 1908 with the opening of the mint in Ottawa, prior to that all Canadian coins were struck in Britain
