My wife is a first grade teacher and the room mom collected money for her end of year gift from the parents. She turned the $195 collected into "Golden Dollars". I've been looking them over for errors, etc. Here is one that caught my attention.

Let me know what your all think... Plating problem, dipped in something, or...?

Thanks

How can you check a coin that's been taped? What will take the residue off and not harm the surface?
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Wow. SBAs are worth just over 1/10 of a cent now? I know that most people didn't like them, but that's terrible! No! Please don't hit me, it was just a joke! AAAAAAHHH!

I thinks its something else. If you look at the first picture on the bottom right the star is almost completely covered by a die chip or Cud. I think its along the lines of a struck through. Just saying what I think is all from what I see.
