Is this no longer considered a variety?

Seems I'm reading/learning that it has become a regular part of the series?

If so, that's a real bummer. Because that means I need to fill that slot in my EV7070 - again.

I have the die #2 accented E "variety" in that slot right now. Does it need to come out?

Based on what I've read on Rick Snow's site and books he's written, the 1860 pointed bust is a scarcer variety, and here Snow has given the mintage as only 500K vs. 20M for type 2. I don't know what to make of that lower figure--perhaps he's revised his previous estimate of 1M? Either way, it's a scarcer IHC, and those in existence are probably much lower, because a lot of IHC were melted in the 1870s for recoinage.

I would keep that one, unless you want to give it to me
