Check out that link: He has used our quotes again, but at least he's mentioned that it's fake this time.

I find it funny that he goes out of his way to tell ebay he is abiding by the rules, when ebay says this.....

quote:
The sale of counterfeit currency and stamps, and equipment designed to make these items violates Australian federal law, and is strictly forbidden on ebay. eBay strongly supports law enforcement efforts to recover counterfeit items listed on our web site, and urges the prosecution of those responsible for knowingly attempting to sell such items on ebay. These laws ban not only counterfeit paper money, but also counterfeit coins, bank notes, bonds, money orders and other securities. Australian law also protects foreign currency and stamps from counterfeiters. Therefore, these counterfeit items may not be listed on ebay.

I think he's just bidding up his own item there.
The reverse image looks like it's copied from a dealer and the obverse image is from Triton's website.

I'm surprised (moreso disappointed) that ebay hasn't banned his account yet.
Rest in Peace

ebay does not have a very good history on banning users. The evidence against a violator needs to be far more than mere "overwhelming". I think an offender needs to actually attempt to murder an ebay officer before it takes action.

With zero feedback for something that expensive, I wouldn't bother. There is no way you can guarantee on what you are getting or he is just making more publicity for himself.

He's bidding up his own item... take a look at how EVERY bidder is a noobie with less that 30 days on ebay. Hmmm coincidence...? I THINK NOT!

It was that same 1930 penny he's been trying to peddle. I guess this time he thought it was OK to sell a counterfeit if he put "copy" in the title.

I wonder if he NARU'd himself or if it were done for him. He did seem to have a hostility problem.
