Lots of good info to the left ..under US coin facts
such as mint weight 6.25 Grams. Circulated coins lose weight if you can post pics ?the experts here are super good and may get really close by eye short answer I don't know tolerance ly

If worn sufficiently, possibly half of what is started out as. Maybe even less. Or are you asking about the original weight when new?

If you lose half of the weight of a coin, it is just a metal disc and no longer identifiable as a coin. Even a PO-1/FR-2 Barber coin would not lose much more than 15-20% of its weight due to wear.
