My best guess on this is an XF, but I may not be giving it enough credit.

This one appears to be a weaker struck half in my opinion.

Looks solid for AU-58 in my opinion, with just a hint of wear on the hair above the brow and on the center tail feather. Luster looks very strong. There are tiny scratches and ticks in the fields that are consistent with brief circulation. The stain on the arrow bundle is a minor distraction but should not impact the grade. I don't see much evidence of a weak strike.

Very nice example for a high-grade type set!

Enough credit? I think what you see is weak strike not wear. But then again I may be giving to much credit. AU-55

Yeah, looking at the wings on the reverse I do feel that this is probably an AU with a weak strike now. I guess I was focusing too much on the obv.

I also say 53-55. Not quite enough luster for 58 imho. Nice coin!

Rails above and below "LIBERTY" with a strong strike on the obverse would instantly place the coin in XF condition.

There are two marks on the Obverse, one in the lower ribbon and the other at about 9:00 in the haird that appear to be PMD. It appears that there are hairline cracks on the obverse that might indicate it was cleaned at some point in time.

The reverse is absolutely beautiful, but as spoken before, I believe it is a week strike. The mint mark is really weakly struck. The lustre is still very visible but there is some hazing at 6:00 on the reverse which further leads me to believe the coin was cleaned sometime in its past.

I believe it shouldn't rate higher than an XF-45 because
of observation above. I am jealous though, that 1915-D looks alot nicer than the one in my collection. Very nice
coin. Where did you pick it up at?

I actually picked up this beauty in a trade with Shadow Creator.

Considering there is so much luster left on the coin, is it possible to have enough circulation to wear down the rails? My initial thought was that it wouldnt have been, thus the weak strike woldnt affect the grade that much. Curious as to other's thoughts though.

As for the hazing... I'll have to take a closer look in hand to see whether it's real or a side effect of the lighting angle.
