Hello, just new to this site and have recently started collecting circulation coins by roll searching. Gone through around 140 rolls so far trying to get a roll of every quarter that has a picture on it. Just wondering if anyone has a list of other special date quarters from 1968 to present. Or things I should be looking for. thanks for the help. Is any one else on here addicted to roll searching?

Welcome to Coin Community..

One of the quarters would be the 1991... low mintage, hard to find in circulation.

First of all, . There are a lot of collectors on this site that have the same addiction that you have started, that is, roll searching. There are some that have done thousands of rolls of coins.

Just looking at the mintage here. Wouldn't both the 1992 P & D be worth more than the 1991?

It's the mint where they came from. P = Pennsylvania. D = Denver.

Add the mules to the list for things to look for:

2007 Wheelchair with Olympic logo
1999 November - no 25-cent mule

There was another 1999 no 25-cent mule.. September I think but I can't remember for sure.

Scissel, thanks for the list it looks like I have my work cut out for me. I'm trying to collect a roll of each. Does any one else collect full rolls or just single coins? My Olympic quarter rolls are getting close to complete.

I have collected every Olympic roll of uncirculated quarters. I also buy a roll of each denomination every year, which has given me quite a few rolls. I also get 4 rolls of half dollars each year.

No problem Prana. I had most of the list done already for an article last year.

I've been searching circulated 5c rolls lately. There's lots of minor varieties to be found! ~ JFK ~

Once I start the 5c rolls I will have to get that list from you as well. Enjoy the hunt. As a side note I found a 1966 Bahama Islands quarter in a roll does any one know if they are made from silver? What percentage? Thanks
