Nickel That Is About The Same Size As A Fifty-Cent Piece

adamlfromor New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/09/2011 5:58 pm I found a Nickel that is about the same size as a fifty-cent piece. It looks exactly like a Nickel only it is much larger. It is dated 1950. Can anyone tell me what it is or where it came from? I'm guessing that it isn't a real coin. Anyway, any information would be helpful. Thank you for your time. pls Rest in Peace United States 1729 Posts	Posted 07/10/2011 11:23 am Ah - the elusive 1950-D nickel! As I noted above, probably a repro. I have larger ones of a Flying Eagle cent and a Standing Liberty quarter, and there were many more made of other coins. Report this Post to the Staff
