Some collectors think that the 6 in the re-cut 26 variety is from the 1 centavos die. Any ideas?

No telling what the Mexican Mint did. It could be that, but not much of a premium.

Not really worried about the value, just how it was made.

Its like the 1906 wide and narrow dates. Was one type made in Birmingham England and the other in Mexico city?
