I'm pretty sure this is from Turkey, because I see the moon and star symbol that is on the Turkish flag. I may be wrong though...

The star-and-crescent is symbolic of Islam and is/has been used by several other Islamic-majority countries. This particular coin comes from Pakistan, denomination 5 rupees. NGC example.
