Thought I'd share my latest pickup for my Colonial type set. A few planchet flaws as commonly seeing on this variety and struck a little low and to the right. It was part of the 2001 C4 (Colonial Coin Collectors Club) auction. Got a great deal on this coin as most of these go for much more than this. To this day, PCGS has only certified 24 examples in all grades, the highest being a single AU53. I have only seeing a few over the years at major shows, and a few on ebay. Seller has marked it as shipped so I can't wait to get it in hand Anyway, here he is: http://cgi.ebay.com/1786-Vermont-Co...132322076836swcoin.ecrater.com

You don't have any Fugios? Dude, we need to fix that. Or are you saving for something special?
I GUESS NOT ANY MORE. Coin collecting is OUT for you. Hm. Poor guy...
Another one bites the dust. RIP vermontensium. It was fun while it lasted...

I'm saving up for the Brasher Doubloon, EB on breast..lol! Someday man, someday. Yeah right :) Okay, I just woke up. The Fugio IMHO is one of those elementary Colonials, you know, it's like one of the first ones you buy when starting to collect Colonials (I started awhile ago). I have NO explanation why I do not have one yet. Don't be too hard on me, I promise I will have one sooner or later.

Haa!
yankee1227, We would love to see your Plow Copper :-) Congratulations on your purchase. Every coin collector should have one Colonial in his/her collection. Some are quite affordable!

I agree with the statement that all collectors shoujld have one colonial in his or her collection. And as for being affordable, I got mine for $20 for an asking price of $25. I am looking to get more too.
