I've always liked the design of that coin, and I, too have a 1973 (though I think the mintage is 30,000).

It doesn't really fit in my collection these days, but I'm unwilling to unload it for the paltry sum I would get on ebay. Though it does look like you could net about $8 to 10 over melt.

Re-reading this thread made me realize that silver at $30 an ounce would be great but that with time things change.
